Worldwide Who’s Who Names Beverly Harriette Kolber Entrepreneur of the Year in Publishing

New York, NY, United States, October 25, 2012, Beverly Harriette Kolber has been named a Worldwide Who’s Who Entrepreneur of the Year in Publishing. While inclusion in Worldwide Who’s Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who’s Who membership.
As one of the first female students to attend the John Jay College of Criminal Justice (City University of New York), Beverly Harriette Kolber recognizes her tenacity, perseverance, and activism as the key strengths which propelled her to entrepreneurial success.
Currently, Ms. Kolber reigns as president and chief executive officer for Up For The Challenge Enterprises, LLC. The production and publishing company offers entertainment and newspaper publishing services to an international client demographic. Ever eager to expose fraud, waste, and corruption in government, Ms. Kolber manages all aspects of production and business operation for the company.
Passionate about politics and volunteering, Ms. Kolber is charitably involved with no kill animal shelters and the battle against cancer. She personally works to provide tools to homeless and low-income women with both visible and hidden disabilities in an effort to promote their self sufficiency. Outside the demands of her work, she enjoys reading, writing, bowling, riding horses, and caring for her pet rabbit named Justice. Ms. Kolber also currently serves on both the women's and seniors Committees of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) New York local.
She is also a Lifetime Member of the International Women’s Writing Guild, the National Organization for Women and the Women’s City Club of New York. In addition, she is a previous and/or current member of other various organizations and associations, such as AARP, the American Guild of Varity Artists (AGVA), B'nai Brith Youth Organization, Circle of Beautiful People International, Disabled in Action, League of Women Voters, Order of the Eastern Star, Police Museum of the City of New York (Commissioner's Circle), Powerful People and Friends, WNET Channel Thirteen (PBS), and Women & Co. (Citicorp).
